I conceived a project for a fictitious pet-clothing brand. My thinking started with the name. I came up with the idea of four-legged tale as a pun of dogs. And, I came up with a strategy to ask pet lovers and pet-owners to create their own 4 word story about their pet. Using social media platforms, I got numerous responses from various people, on Twitter and Facebook. I compiled the stories and developed a visual language around it. For the visual strategy, I was inspired my the animated actions of dogs seen in Comics such as Asterix and Tintin. I wanted to get that exaggerated, animated feel. I developed a brush script type that captures this quality and then created a series of applications using the typeface to create the look of the brand.
